Allen Pinnacle doesn’t have the greatest views, but still good enough. In the non-winter months, this is a nice easy walk through the woods on wide dirt roads and ATV Trails from Cook Hill Road. In the winter, the packed down snowmobile trails (Mostly ITS-84 with a local spur to the top) make for good snowshoeing up from either Route 145, or Cook Hill Road.
The summit in spring, amidst a brewing storm. The high point in the background is the southeast summit of Mount Abraham. May, 2016 Views from the summit are much better in the winter, with the leaves off the trees, and packed down snow to raise you up a foot or two. March, 2017 A viewpoint just before the summit.
