Baldpate Mountain – not to be confused with the smaller, two-word Bald Pate Mountain in Bridgton, offers a challenging hike to 360-degree panoramic views from East Peak. You can get there via the Appalachian Trail Northbound from Grafton Notch on Route 26 (most popular route), the the Appalachian Trail Southbound from East B Hill Road and Dunn Falls (longer and more strenuous), or the Frye Brook Trail from East B Hill Road and the Cataracts (Frye Brook Trail is not very well-maintained). The views from East Peak do not disappoint.
