Cranberry Peak, the westernmost peak of the Bigelow Range, offers a challenging hike to 360-degree panoramic views at the summit. It is most commonly accessed from the West, via the Bigelow Range Trail from Stratton. It can also be accessed via the Appalachian Trail Northbound from Stratton Brook Pond Road, and then West on the Bigelow Range Trail. A snowmobile trail, which connects the AT – Stratton Brook Pond Road crossing and the Bigelow Range Trail from Stratton can make a longer loop hike out of both these approaches.
