Saddleback Wind Mountain in Carthage is home to the Saddleback Ridge wind farm – operated by Patriot Renewables. Beyond the wind farm, it features panoramic views from its bare summit. If you’re into geology, the metamorphic schist bedrock is really neat as well. You can also extend the hike and continue on to neighboring Bald Mountain to the North.
