Sugarloaf Mountain, home to Sugarloaf USA ski area, is the second highest mountain in Maine (third if you consider Baxter and Hamlin Peaks on Mount Katahdin to be separate), and is one of the New England 4000-footers. It features 360-degree panoramic views from its bare summit. On clear days, you can see all the way from Mount Washington to the South, to Mount Katahdin to the North. It can be hiked via the summit access road from the base of the ski area, or from a side trail to the Southwest, connecting to the Appalachian Trail.
