This is not the mountain that hosts Sunday River Ski Area. That mountain is Barker Mountain.
Sunday River Whitecap, on the Grafton Loop Trail, features 360-degree panoramic views from its bald summit. The easiest way to get there is via an old logging road from Route 26 to a herd path, which connects to the Grafton Loop Trail.
